LGBTQ+ Youth Worker
We are looking for a compassionate and adaptable LGBTQ+ Youth Worker to join our team for four days a week, supporting young people across several of our youth groups. This will include Sprinkles, our Saturday provision for 8-12 year olds and their families.
This role is all about creating spaces where young people feel safe, seen and able to be themselves, often for the very first time. You’ll build trusting relationships and responding to the individual needs of young people. You’ll work alongside families, professionals and partner organisations to make sure every young person feels supported in their journey.
You’ll take the lead in planning, delivering and evaluating sessions, managing referrals into the service, and meeting agreed KPI’s across youth group delivery, 1-2-1 support and undertaking promotional outreach.
You’ll also play an active part in raising awareness of our work in the community, helping more young people find the support they deserve. At the heart of this role is a commitment to listening to LGBTQ+ young people and ensuring their voices shape everything we do.
