Proud Connections Officer (One to One Worker)

We are seeking passionate and experienced people to join our growing team to provide bespoke one-to-one support to LGBT+ young people and adults in their lives both online and in person via live chat and one-to-one support services.

The successful applicant will work with colleagues to plan, deliver, promote and evaluate the Proud Connections Live Chat and One-to-One support services. Placing young people at the centre of the work to provide trusted information, support and signposting and individual support programmes. Working with young people and the adults who support them to provide support and information that is most suitable for them and their situation, you will support them to improve their lives in relation to safety, access to health care, housing, family, experiences of school and friendships.

The successful candidate will be supporting LGBT+ young people and the adults in their lives in a variety of locations and formats (online and in person) and must therefore be willing to travel across Greater Manchester.

Youth Work Assistant Manager

We are now seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Manager to join our growing Youth Work team. The Assistant Manager will support the Youth Work Manager in the planning, delivery and evaluation of the Youth Work offer within The Proud Trust. This will include line management of staff, outreach and community engagement and shaping The Proud Trust’s Youth Work offer.

As the delivery of these groups covers a wide geographical area, this role is open to candidates to work flexibly, however the successful candidate must be willing to travel to Manchester at various points when necessary.

Youth Work Coordinator

We are seeking passionate and committed Youth Workers to join our growing team. We have full, part time and sessional roles available.

The successful candidates will work with LGBT+ young people in a youth group setting, engage in outreach work and handle young people referrals into their group. They will have responsibility for the planning, delivery and evaluation of the youth groups, ensuring they keep LGBT+ young people at the heart of what we do.

The successful candidates will engage with diverse communities through outreach work in your group’s area and across the areas The Proud Trust covers ensuring people know the range of services we offer.

Youth Work Assistant- Cover

We are seeking passionate and committed people to join our team of sessional youth workers. We are particularly interested in youth workers located in and around Cheshire West and Chester. We will also welcome applications from youth workers within Greater Manchester.

The successful candidates will work with LGBT+ young people in a youth group setting on a adhoc basis ensuring LGBT+ young people have access to their local LGBT+ youth group.
