Celebrate the Centre’s 28th birthday, with a walking tour
When: Sunday 27th November, 2pm
Length: 1 hour
What: This walking tour will tell the story of how Manchester became the first place to build an entirely publicly funded, purpose designed centre for the gay community, just as Thatcher’s government were enacting Section 28.
Meet: Please meet at Manchester Town Hall side entrance, on Lloyd Street (as the xmas markets are on). I will be waving a small rainbow flag! Please note it will end at the LGBT Centre on Sidney Street, just off Oxford Road.
