The Be Yourself Be Proud LGBTQ+ project meets at a location in Cheshunt which will be made available once you contact us. We have a strict confidentiality policy to respect the needs of all involved. Come along and enjoy meeting other young LGBTQ+ people in a safe space. We provide information and advice for those who are coming out and those who need a little more help. We also offer emotional support, useful strategies for managing the ups and downs of coming out and finding ways to feel comfortable and confident with your own identity. You can gain new skills in our practical workshops, discuss LGBTQ+ issues, fundraise for LGBTQ+ charities, listen to live music, or take part in arts and crafts, creative writing and cooking. Group members take the lead in deciding what activities and projects the group will do. It's free to attend. Please call or email for details of where and when this project takes place.
