New Build

Buy A Brick

Buy your nearest and dearest a meaningful present this year and help improve the lives of LGBT+ People.

Manchester has one of only four LGBT+ Centres in the country, and was the first Centre of its kind in Europe.

Your gift will help rebuild Manchester’s LGBT+ Centre so that current and future generations can benefit from the love, care and support that the LGBT+ Centre offers.

Life-saving and life-enhancing, the new three-storey LGBT+ Centre will support over 50,000 people each year, including those with addictions, people fleeing from abuse, those at risk of becoming homeless and many people who suffer from acute loneliness.

For just £100 you can buy a brick towards this amazing project.

Ensure you place the name of the person you are buying on behalf of, in the recipient box when ordering, we will then send you a gift certificate that you can give to them. Upon ordering, you will also be able to download a digital certificate too. Their name will also be featured on a ‘plaque of thanks’ which will be featured in the new building.

Many thanks for your support towards this important campaign! Click here to find out more and buy your brick.

LGBT+ Centre Celebration and Consultation

On Tues 15th May we welcomed 50 people to the centre, including our patron the Lord Lieutenant Warren Smith, our neighours, VCS representatives, user groups and allies. Together we celebrated our fundraising efforts so far, having raised £1.1mn, and also provided feedback and thoughts on the latest re-build plans.

Funding Success

2018 update on LGBT+ Re-build project

In late 2017 we submitted two large funding bids totalling more than £1.4mn. Early indications have been positive and we have worked hard with our technical team and advisors on the project. We hope to have the outcomes of these two funding bids by early April 2018. If they are successful we will aim to raise the additional £600,000 to be able to realise our plans to double our size to more than double our impact. To support our work please see here.
