The Jaye Bloomfield Resource Library

library

Named after a long supporter of the centre and its work, The Jaye Bloomfield Resource Library houses a range of LGBT, feminist and activist resources. Supported by volunteers, the library is available for reference and lending can also be agreed with Centre staff.

To view the catalogue please visit our page on Good Reads

In April 2014, two volunteers launched an LGBT zine library too! Zines are small self-published magazines or booklets, created and distributed outside the mainstream media. Much like blogs, there are zines on almost every topic imaginable, some only include writing, while others feature art, photos or poems. The format provides a useful space for the creator to write about their own experiences or interests, which they feel are not represented or spoken about elsewhere. The zine library is currently accepting donations so please get in touch to donate a zine or with general enquiries.
