With thanks to funding from Cheshire West and Chester Council, The Proud Trust are again working with youth theatre company Action Transport Theatre, this time to create a performance piece which explores gender and trans identities. The piece will be performed by our two trans and queer actors and form part of a programme of educational training events aimed at teachers, social workers and healthcare professionals.
We are looking to create the performance piece from scratch with young people leading decisions on what topics to cover and how to deliver them. To kick start this process we would like to invite you to two days of workshops over the summer holidays.
Thursday 17th August & Friday 18th August
Ellesmere Port (near Whitby Hall)
You will not be require to act or perform at these workshops unless you choose to – our role is more about directing the actors to perfume the topics we pick. We can also help pay for transport to get you to the venue for the workshops.
Contact email@example.com for more information, or to tell us you are coming along!
Take part in a FREE Young People’s Rights Course.
8th Aug 11am-5.30pm
