Oliver Bliss works freelance with over 10 years experience at Arts Council England, with a specialism in Audience Engagement. He supports individual artists and cultural organisations with their creative practice and business development needs. He has an active passion for supporting the LGBT+ community, having previously volunteered with The Proud Trust and returned as a Trustee. He is involved in supporting the oral history work which has led to the book Pride not Prejudice. He was a part of the coordination team that produced the first National Festival of LGBT History, hosted in Manchester. He has collaborated with organisations such as Homotopia, Liverpool Pride, and the Lesbian Immigration Support Group. In his free time, he enjoys creating YouTube videos through his channel #Bookdraw to champion queer fiction writers and to encourage people to read their work.
