Valkyrie is a fictional superhero appearing in comic books published by Marvel Comics. She appears in a number of films taking place in the Marvel cinematic universe, first appearing in Thor: Ragnarok played by bisexual actor Tessa Thompson. The character is canonically bisexual in the comics and recently became the MCUs first LGBT+ superhero in Thor: Love and Thunder.


Elliot Page is a Canadian actor, best known for his roles in The Umbrella Academy and Juno. Elliot came out as trans in 2020 and went on to become the first openly trans man to appear on the cover of Time magazine.


Love, Simon is a romantic drama based on the book Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda. The story follows Simon who is gay but has not yet told his family or friends, and he has no idea who the anonymous classmate is he’s fallen for online.


Happiest Season is a romantic comedy which follows couple Abby and Harper as they spend Christmas with Harper’s parents. Trouble begins when Abby realises Harper has yet to “come out” to her family.


This film is a celebration of the lives of three Black music artists, one of which is the legendary, bisexual blues singer Ma Rainey. Set in 1920’s Chicago, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom dramatises the relationship between Ma Rainey, her ambitious horn player and their white management team.


A sequel to the 1995 film The Craft, this film is about a group of high-school students who form a coven of witches. The sequel is more diverse than the original, featuring a trans witch in Zoey Luna’s Lourdes, and Nicholas Galitzine’s character coming out as bisexual.


Moonlight follows its main character, Chiron, through three stages of his life: his childhood, teenage years and his early adult life. The film explores the challenges Chiron faces coming to terms with his sexuality and identity.
