Proud Connections: Parents & Carers

Proud Connections: Parents & Carers is an online peer support group for the parents and carers of LGBT+ young people facilitated by experienced members of staff from The Proud Trust.

I definitely feel less scared about my child’s future. Parent of a 14-year-old young person

Meeting for five weekly sessions, the group is a safe and supportive space for parents and carers to ask questions, share experiences and receive specific support where needed.

Casual yet warm friendly and good humoured. [Staff were] really well-informed and helpful. Allowed plenty of space for us to get to know one another Parent on Proud Connections: Parents & Carers

The sessions take place regularly throughout the year so if you would like more information please contact us on parentsandcarers@theproudtrust.org or chat to us on Proud Connections Live Chat.
