This resource was developed between the Brighton & Hove City Council’s Standards & Achievement Team and our friends at Allsorts Youth Project, first published in 2013, and updated in 2017.

This toolkit provides information and guidance to schools and college on how to more effectively support trans, non-binary and gender questioning pupils and students, and prevent transphobia.

In May 2014, the Archbishop of Canterbury launched this report from the Educational Division of the Church of England.

The guidance, which is being sent to all Church of England schools, provides ten key recommendations which should be adopted by schools in combating homophobic bullying as well as sample policies for primary and secondary Church schools.
