Coronavirus (COVID-19) Statement

The Proud Trust is now operating digitally, as we make significant changes to how we operate in this time of international concern.

All youth groups and 1-1s (face-to-face contact) are not running in their usual venues and are being delivered virtually instead.

Our LGBT+ Centre is closed, if you want to get in touch, contact us at

Our face to face training is also postponed, but some courses have moved virtual. Information on upcoming virtual training, can be found here.

Youth workers will be sending out Google Hangout links for our group work and 1-1 support. Please contact us if you have any questions.

We are still here for you and all LGBT+ young people.

Please share this with young people or colleagues where relevant.

Be Our Corporate Hero – Buy A Brick

Be Our Corporate Hero – Buy A Brick

We are in desperate need of support to rebuild our LGBT+ Centre in Manchester, which is in a serious state of disrepair, to quadruple our capacity and save 50,000 more young lives each year.

Manchester has one of only four LGBT+ Centres in the country and was the first Centre of its kind in Europe.

We are asking companies in the region to buy a brick each for £1000 to help us to rebuild our Centre.

Your gift will help rebuild Manchester’s LGBT+ Centre so that current and future generations can benefit from the love, care and support that the LGBT+ Centre offers.

Life saving and life enhancing, the new three-storey LGBT+ Centre will support over 50,000 people each year, including those with addictions, fleeing from abuse, those at risk of homelessless and many people who suffer from acute loneliness.

Benefits for our corporate brick supporters include:

    • Your company’s name on our special Rainbow Wall of Pride within the new Centre and on our website
    • A special logo to use on your website and marketing materials to showcase your support
    • A digital thank you via our social media channels
    • A printed certificate, which we will post to you
    • Invitation to visit the new Centre once it’s built

Many thanks for your support towards this important campaign!

*Small print – please note that if the full rebuild of the LGBT Centre does not go ahead, The Proud Trust reserve the right to put your kind donation towards other charitable purposes benefiting the LGBT+ Community.
