Training for Professionals

Any professional that works with children and young people, is working with children and young people that are, or will at some point realise that they are, LGBT+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, plus other related identities). How well are these children and young people represented in your school, college or service? How will their “coming out” experience be while under your care? We challenge you to create LGBT+ visible, positive, and inclusive primary schools, secondary schools, colleges and other youth settings.

All of our training is interactive and discussion based. This means that whatever your starting point, we are confident that you will take away practical and achievable LGBT+ inclusion ideas and actions that are appropriate for your staff, your communities, and of course, your children and young people.

We have designed training specifically for:

  • Primary Teachers
  • Secondary Teachers
  • College Lecturers
  • Youth Workers
  • BAME Youth and Community Workers
  • Faith Leaders
  • Support Staff
  • Foster Carers

“Your training this afternoon was brilliant! I really enjoyed it and took some great ideas away.”

Charlotte Hill, CEO UK Youth
