This pack has been created around the book Alien Nation to support primary schools in teaching about gender identity, celebrating our differences, as well as sharing that trans and non-binary people exist and that being trans is usual.
As mentioned in LGBT+ Identities, children become aware of their gender at around three-years old. It is important that the trans and non-binary young people in your school see their identity positively represented.

Aimed at KS2, this resource includes:
- The book Alien Nation.
- Five fully resourced lessons to support you in positively teaching about gender identity.
